The information in this application is for reference only and is subject to change without notice.  The authoritative set fines are those in the pdf version of the Chief Justice’s original set fine orders posted on the Changes to the Set Fines made by Set Fines Orders or Regulations at http://www.ontariocourts.on.ca/ocj/en/setfines/changes/index.htm. The set fine information was originally downloaded from the OCJ’s website in January 2011 and will be updated when changes are identified.

Only selected contents to assist Police Officers, Conservation Officers, MTO Officers and law enforcement students are contained in this application.

 

Privacy Policy

Shield Technologies respects and is committed to protecting the privacy and safeguarding the personal information entrusted to us by our users.

Shield Technologies takes reasonable steps to protect our users’ personal information using electronic security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.  To ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information that we collect, we use data networks, inter alia, by industry standard firewall and password protection.

Shield Technologies collects the email address, password, and device identifiers such as IP’s, operating system version and MAC addresses of persons who register and use the Shield Basic application.  This information is not shared with, sold, or rented to others.  A service provider under contract has access to the email addresses and device identifiers to improve services and to troubleshoot user generated service tickets.

A user may generate a service ticket and may provide Shield Technologies with further contact information such as a name and/or telephone numbers. Shield Technologies collects that contact information to assist with future service tickets.  The contact information is not shared with, sold, or rented to others.

At any time, a user may contact Shield Technologies at info@shieldbasic.ca and request that their account and information be deleted.

The Shield Basic application contains links to other sites, mainly federal and provincial legislative websites.  Visit the legislative websites for their Privacy Policy.

Shield Technologies uses the services of third-party payment processors  You may review their Privacy Policy on their website.

Shield Technologies may update its Privacy Policy at any given time.  These changes will be posted on the Shield Basic website and within the Shield Basic application.
